Below, you can enable Motion Blur as it shouldn’t reduce your performance, but I prefer to disable this option. Disable Anti-Aliasing, set the Filtering mode to Trilinear, and disable V-sync. For low end PC’s I suggest to lower the Model and Texture Detail options to Low, as these two should use up the most VRAM. Set the Display Mode to fullscreen, and in your Advanced Video Options, set your Detail Options according to your systems specs. This will in any case improve your performance, but the visual quality will suffer a lot. In case none of the next tweaks helped you out as much as you wanted, then I suggest lowering the overall game Resolution. In your TF2 Video Options, make sure to run the game in your native screen resolution and aspect ratio. In case you experience performance issues while using the recommended system requirements, then make sure to follow the next steps.
